ITINERARY:

DAY ONE – AUCKLAND
Your vacation begins in Auckland, the ‘City of Sails’. You will stay in a 2 bedroom suite in downtown Auckland.

DAY TWO - COAST & RAINFOREST WALK
Spend a full day touring the city and taking in the breathtaking panoramic views from the Tasman Sea to the Pacific Ocean. Travel out to the wild and rugged west coast where you get to experience the untouched ancient rainforests. Unwind by a spectacular cascading waterfall or swim beneath it. Venture on to an awe-inspiring west coast beach where you can stroll along the soft black sand and feel the clear ocean breeze.

DAY THREE - AUCKLAND TO ROTORUA AND WAITOMO CAVES
Today you will travel south from Auckland through the rich farmland of the Waikato on to Waitomo. Your guided tour begins after lunch through the long galleries and lofty chambers of the Caves. Your tour continues with a boat ride through the Glowworm Grotto, illuminated by thousands of tiny lights from the glowworms suspended from the cave ceiling. Reboard your coach and continue on to Rotorua where you'll spend 2 nights on the shores of picturesque Lake Rotorua.

DAY FOUR - TE PUIA
You'll take a guided tour through The New Zealand Maori Arts & Crafts Institute where masters and students share their art and their stories about our carving and weaving schools. Step into the ancient valley where geysers, mud pools and boiling waters still play after 40,000 years at Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley.

DAY FIVE – CHRISTCHURCH
Today fly to Christchurch (airfare not included) where you will be transferred to your hotel.

DAY SIX - SWIMMING WITH WILD DOLPHINS!
Today you will visit Akaora via the Sign of Takahe, Sign of Kiwi, Governers Bay, Gebbies Pass, Lake Forsyth and Little River. Visit a cheese factory where you will have the opportunity to sample some NZ's fine cheese. On arriving at Akaroa join a cruise on the Akaroa Harbour sighting dolphins, penguins and seals. Following your return to Akaroa village, time will be available for lunch (at your expense) and to explore the many fine craft shops and old French colonial buildings.

DAY SEVEN – CHRISTCHURCH TO QUEENSTOWN
From Christchurch you'll take a scenic coach transfer to Queenstown, the Southern Hemisphere's premiere four season alpine and lake resort. Queenstown is home for 3 nights and is also the home of high adventure - the locals refer to this place as the “Adventure Capital of the World”.

DAY EIGHT - MILFORD SOUND
You will board the luxury glass-roofed coach in Queenstown and enjoy a relaxing trip along the shores of Lake Wakatipu and through the rolling countryside to Te Anau. The spectacular Milford Road leads to Milford Sound where you'll board a luxury vessel for a cruise the full-length of Milford Sound. The scenery here is spectacular: waterfalls, rainforest, mountains and wildlife.

DAY NINE – SKYLINE GONDOLA & LUGE RIDES
On your last full day in Queenstown, take a 5 minute walk from central Queenstown and ride the Skyline Gondola to the top of the Skyline complex. The best views in the region are found here spread out in a spectacular 220 degree panorama, with breathtaking views of Coronet Peak, The Remarkables mountain range and across Lake Wakatipu to Cecil and Walter Peaks. It's truly magnificent and awe-inspiring! Enjoy two fun filled gravity rides for all ages and abilities on 2 luge tracks situated behind the Skyline complex and accessed by chairlift or walking track.

DAY TEN – DEPARTURE
On your final day of this family adventure, your driver will pick you up for your transfer to Queenstown Airport for your flight home.
